Our story

Made to spark conversations

Randall Trani, a U.S. Army veteran, started designing pocket squares in 2013 to spark conversations. Today Trani Designs offers original silk pocket squares, including art by his brother Paul Trani, and leather jotters, all designed in Ashburn, Virginia.

What are the pocket squares made of?

14x14 in pure silk charmeuse, 14 momme, satin weave, with a machine-rolled hem. Hand wash cold or dry clean.

Which jotter size do I need?

Jotters hold standard index cards: 2x3.5 (ultra-mini), 3x5 (pocket), 4x6 and 5x8 (executive).
